Negin Karimi born 1984,Tehran. She is a figurative painter whose work centers on complexities in human relationships, both intrapersonal and interpersonal. Through her art, she endeavours to explore the deep, often subconscious emotions that shape our experience of life. Her recent collection “Shared Solitude” depicts underlying loneliness, often present in elderly couples. “Colors and forms can express feelings more effectively than words”, she says, highlighting her belief in the expressive power of visual art.
