Arash Fesharaki (b. 1981, Isfahan, Iran) is a multidisciplinary artist who works with painting, drawing, and sculpture. He often incorporates found and readymade materials into his most recent paintings, putting poetic tension between opposing elements. His visual language is that of unfolding contrast between hard and soft, fragile and solid—metal and feathers, glass and cotton. These contrasts underlie the enigmatic mood of his work, where meaning is found in the space between contrasts.
Arash graduated from Tehran Art & Architecture University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and subsequently earned a painting degree from the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna. Over the past two years, he has shown widely in group exhibitions all over Italy, the United States, India, and Iran.
