Saba Imani (b.1982, Tehran, Iran) is a contemporary artist whose approach to art is driven by exploration rather than commitment to a specific technique or subject. She believes that adhering to a fixed method diminishes the opportunity for discovery.Nature, especially trees, has always inspired her. Urban spaces and structures like power towers and abandoned buildings also play a prominent role in her work, where she observes the coexistence of human constructs and nature. Her currently works blend the external world with her inner experience, where empty spaces take on significant meaning. In recent years, she has increasingly engaged with the concept of emptiness, seeking ways to express it through painting, papermaking, or installation.
