Hamidreza Farahnaki (b. 2000, Sonqor and Koliaei, Kermanshah, Iran) began his professional artistic practice in 2019 after entering the Faculty of Visual Arts at the University of Art, Tehran. His artistic approach is rooted in playful experimentalism — a free and creative engagement with diverse materials and tools, traces of which are evident throughout his body of work.
In recent years, Farahnaki has focused on selecting and combining various materials that inherently carry structural and conceptual contrasts. By utilizing their physical properties alongside the traditional meanings embedded in them, he reconstructs personal narratives through a contemporary visual language.
